Valentina Sokratous is Head of the Museum (2018) and Museum Education at Ethnological Museum of Thrace since 2011, where she started as a volunteer in 2007. Her main research interests belong in the spectrum of Education Sciences, the combination of different techniques and tools in informal education using performance arts and object based learning. Since 2015 she was part of the organizational team for Fashion Revolution in Alexandroupolis and since 2016 she is the City Leader in Alexandroupoli for Fashion Revolution Greece. She came up with the #fashion-empathy mostly because she believes in the importance of the stories material things can say for their owners. Sustainable empathetic fashion is the future.
